PISTOL on STEEL

This Pistol on Steel event is a timed competition that consists of multiple stages with steel targets in three sizes; small circular, large circular and square targets. Competitors will receive points at each stage and the competitor with the most points at the end of the day will be the overall winner

Check-in/Same Day Registration/Range Brief  -  7:45 - 08:15 AM 

Competition  -  9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Six Competition Levels/Divisions

  • Expert: Active Military/competitor with extensive expertise

  • Experienced: Formal pistol training/course and/or regularly competes in pistol matches

  • Novice: No formal pistol training/course

  • Women: May use .22 cal**-but cannot Place

  • Senior: 60 years or older

  • Junior: 18 years & below; 12 yrs & below may use .22 cal


Prizes for Top 3 places per competition level; Pistol for 1st Place Overall


Equipment: 9mm or larger recommended; at least two magazines,
200 rounds, gun case/bag to secure weapon, eye and ear protection.(holster and ammo pouches recommended)


Prohibited Ammo: 22mag, 357mag, 38+P, 38 super, 45 colt, 44spl, 44mag, 10mm


**Competitors over 12 yrs; cannot place with .22 cal pistol

Entry Fee: $50


 

SHOTGUN FLURRY

The Shotgun Flurry event is a team event.  Each team will consist of 4 team members shooting at the same time.  Multiple clays will be launched at the same time with 50 clays being launched in about 2 minutes.

Prizes top three places; shotguns for the 1st Place Team

Four-person teams.

 

                Entry Fee: $50 per team member


Equipment: Eye and ear protection; shells with size 8 or smaller; no box magazine fed shotguns; shotguns will be available to borrow

Shotgun Flurry Times:

Check-in/Same Day Registration/Range Brief  -  12:00 - 12:45 PM 

Competition  -  1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

All MCWCC ranges operate as “Cold” ranges. This means all loading and unloading of ammunition into your guns will happen on the firing line only

Lunch will be provided to all participants.  The food is included in the registration cost.
